Rajmachi Firefly Trek 2025 Event Details

  • Shirvardhan Fort Height  2710 feet approx.
  • Nearest City Lonavala, Karjat
  • Stay on a triple sharing basis at the Tent or a villager’s house (depending on the weather)
  • Separate stay for females and males
  • Fireflies depend on whether (if monsoon is started)
  • Shrivardhan Fort Exploration.
  • Local Village Food.

  • The sighting of fireflies is a natural phenomenon that depends on weather conditions. We can hope to have a beautiful experience of exploring nature in their presence.
  • People may board the same train from their respective stations of convenience.
  • The Train Ticket is not included in the cost.
  • Fireflies depend on whether conditions
  • If the road is not motorable, jeeps will be available only till halfway. Participants will have to walk 8km. (One Way)
  • If it rains, stay will be in the homestay, camping is not possible due to the rain.
  • Due to the visitor rush during this period, jeeps are sometimes unavailable or overbooked, and the participant is requested to wait patiently for their jeep.

(Note - If road is not motorable, jeep will be available till halfway only. Participants will have to walk 8km - One Way)

05:30 pm - Reach Base Village.

06:00 pm - Visit temple and lake

09:30 pm - Dinner

After dinner enjoy fireflies walk.

(If it rains, stay will be in homestay, camping is not possible due to rain. Male/Female separate stay)

Day 02: Sunday [ Click Here ]

05:00 am - Wake up.

06:00 am - Start trek to Shrivardhan fort

07:00 am - Reach on top and explore.

08:00 am - Start descending.

09:30 am - Back to base village.

10:00 am - Breakfast.

11:00 am - Start return journey towards Lonavala by local vehicle.

12:00 pm - Reach Lonavala and disperse. (depend upon availability of vehicles)
