About Raigad Fort

Raigad Fort, located in the Sahyadri mountain range, is renowned for its historical and strategic importance. The fort boasts approximately 1,737 steps leading to its summit. Alternatively, visitors can opt for the Raigad Ropeway, which provides a convenient ascent. This aerial tramway covers 750 meters and reaches a height of 400 meters, offering a four-minute ride to the top. Therefore, it provides both efficiency and breathtaking views. Historically, the fort played a crucial role in resisting the British East India Company until its destruction in 1818.

💢 Note: Insurance coverage is available exclusively for those who book their seat a day before at 02:00 PM.

💢 Additional Information: For this event, we will use the ropeway for both ascending and descending, as the Payari Marg is currently closed according to the circular from the Collector’s Office. Therefore, ensure you book your seat in advance to secure a spot on the ropeway.

Carry a haversack, 2 liters of water, full-sleeve T-shirts, long pants, ready-to-eat food, personal medicine, raincoat, extra clothes, slippers, and a torch.

The decision of the trek leader will be final and binding.

What is the refund policy in case of cancellations?

In case of unavoidable conditions (natural disasters, policy changes, etc.), trek fees will be refunded except for nominal expenses already incurred.

What is the deadline for registration?

The last date for registration is 10 August 2024. Insurance coverage is available exclusively to those who book their seat before Friday 11:00 PM.
