Raigad Fort, located in the Sahyadri mountain range, is renowned for its historical and strategic importance. The fort boasts approximately 1,737 steps leading to its summit. Alternatively, visitors can opt for the Raigad Ropeway, which provides a convenient ascent. This aerial tramway covers 750 meters and reaches a height of 400 meters, offering a four-minute ride to the top. Therefore, it provides both efficiency and breathtaking views. Historically, the fort played a crucial role in resisting the British East India Company until its destruction in 1818.

Carry a haversack, 2 liters of water, full-sleeve T-shirts, long pants, ready-to-eat food, personal medicine, raincoat, extra clothes, slippers, and a torch.
Strictly not allowed. Any kind of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs is prohibited on the trek.
In case of unavoidable conditions (natural disasters, policy changes, etc.), trek fees will be refunded except for nominal expenses already incurred.
